Intelligent Search Documentation

The Intelligent Search feature in Metazoa Snapshot is a powerful tool that helps you interactively navigate and manage your Salesforce organization (org) with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). It includes the Intelligent Assistant, Full Text Search, and Product Documentation tabs.

1. Intelligent Assistant

The Intelligent Assistant uses AI to answer your questions about your org and provide data-driven insights.

1.1 Using Intelligent Assistant

To use the Intelligent Assistant:

  1. Right-click on any snapshot or developer project.
  2. Select Intelligent Search.
  3. Click on the Intelligent Assistant tab.

Here, you can ask any question about your org. For instance, you can inquire about validation rules of a specific custom object. The AI responds with detailed information about the rules and even provides information on individual rules upon request.

You can also ask how-to questions. For example, ask "how do I change a validation rule," and the Intelligent Assistant will guide you through the process.

The Intelligent Assistant can provide guidance on org management, metadata, or object schema. For instance, if you need to find unused fields in your org, you can ask the Assistant, and it will provide a detailed explanation of the snapshot field usage report and how to use it.

2. Full Text Search

Full Text Search allows you to search across your current snapshot or developer project.

2.1 Using Full Text Search

To use the Full Text Search:

  1. Click on the Full Text Search tab.
  2. Enter the text you want to find.

The search will return every instance of that text in your org. This is useful for finding specific URLs, usernames, email addresses, or even instances of text within comments or Apex classes.

Unlike the Impact Analysis feature, Full Text Search will identify the entered text wherever it appears in your org, offering a broader search scope.

3. Product Documentation

The Product Documentation tab allows you to access a wealth of resources, including Metazoa websites, Salesforce help websites, and Stack Exchange.

3.1 Using Product Documentation

To use the Product Documentation:

  1. Click on the Product Documentation tab.
  2. Enter your query.

You will be provided with a range of links related to your query. For example, if you search for 'technical debt', it will provide links to articles on technical debt from the Metazoa center, Trailhead, and more. You can then click on any of these links to find additional information.
