The Deployment Results dialog shows every metadata deployment made between the source and destination of a deployment arrow. For each deployment you can see the results that Salesforce returned and the exact Create and Delete Job Lists that were used. This makes the dialog the place to audit release history, troubleshoot a failed push, or recover the job lists from an earlier release.
Snapshot records each deployment as custom objects in the Metazoa managed package in your license org. Those records also help coordinate deployments across your team, and you can build your own Salesforce reports on them.

Opening Deployment Results
Right-click a deployment arrow on the Snapshot desktop and choose Deployment Results. The dialog lists the deployments between the two items connected by that arrow.
Finding a deployment
- Deployment list: Shows all of the deployments between the source and destination, in order through time. Deployments made with the current arrow are shown in bold.
- Search: Type in the search field to filter the list, or pick a common search term from the menu. For example, you can show only the deployments that actually made changes to the destination org, which hides validations and pushes that changed nothing.
Reviewing a deployment
- Results: Select a deployment to see the results text that Salesforce returned, including error messages and the assets that were changed or left unchanged.
- Create and Delete Job Lists: Use the Create and Delete switch to see either job list used by the selected deployment.
- Export: Right-click a job list to open or close all items, or to export the job list. An exported job list can be loaded into a new deployment to repeat or adjust an earlier release.
Common questions this dialog answers
- What metadata was moved between these two orgs, and when?
- Was a given deployment a validation, or did the deployment change the destination?
- What errors did Salesforce report for a failed push?
- Which assets were in the Create and Delete Job Lists for a past release?
