The Org Overview Report compresses an entire Salesforce org into a single, high-level intelligence packet instead of forcing you to inspect metadata one asset at a time. It produces a compact context fingerprint of the org — roughly a 25K-token reasoning packet — so that AI can reason about the whole org at once, and so that people get a fast, broad understanding of the org's footprint in seconds.
This is not static documentation or dashboard reporting. It is compressed Org Intelligence designed for AI reasoning, and it supplies the context layer that Agentforce, MCP, and AI-driven administration need.
When to use it
Reach for this report whenever you need a broad, architectural view of an org rather than the details of a single component. It is especially useful for:
- High-level architectural analysis and assessing how mature an architecture is
- Modernization planning and Agentforce readiness
- Cleanup prioritization and technical-debt reduction
- Planning an org split, clone, migration, or consolidation
- Identifying where the highest deployment risk lives before a release
What it captures

How it works
The report opens with a selectable metadata-type list and a preview table for the type you choose. For each asset you can review the name, label, created and modified dates, size, reference counts to and from the asset, namespace, packaging status, description, browser link, and technical-debt indicators.
You control how much you see: filter which columns and asset classes are shown, choose the sort order, and set the level of detail. When you are ready, you can export the results to CSV, Excel, PDF, or HTML.

- Summary — aggregates each type into totals and averages, answering how many assets exist in each type, how much storage they consume, how interconnected they are, when they were created or last changed, and how many are packaged versus unpackaged.
Object and field detail
Dedicated object and field detail sections extend the analysis with total records, field-type breakdowns, field usage, empty, default, and distinct values, descriptions, inline help, business status, security classification, and compliance groups. The report also includes company details, user license counts, and installed package information to surface org-wide constraints and dependencies.

Because the whole org is captured in one fingerprint, you (or an AI reasoning over the packet) can ask questions such as:
